Adoption Connection is one of the longest running open adoption agencies in the country. Co-Director Lynne Fingerman, MSW co-founded the agency in 1985. In 2001 we expanded our license to include international adoption homestudy and post-placement services.

Since its inception Adoption Connection has completed over 1,600 domestic infant adoptions.

Adoption Connection understands that families come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. We welcome couples and individuals of all ages, of all religious and ethnic backgrounds, and of all sexual orientations.

We are licensed to work with adoptive parents in 19 counties in Northern California. They are: Alameda, Amador, Contra Costa, El Dorado, Marin, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba County.
