Stop thinking you can never be a parent. Gay adoption IS an option. I remember one of the most difficult aspects of coming to terms with being gay was thinking I would never have the "normal" family traditions like opening gifts on Christmas morning or hiding and hunting Easter eggs. About six years ago, I decided enough was enough. I was going to be a parent. This site was developed to share the information I've learned over the years with those of you who may be interested in pursuing the adoption of a child.

The most important thing to know is that there ARE options. You too can be a parent.

I have adopted my three kids over the last six years through the fost adopt program in Boulder county, Colorado. When I began my process, there wasn't a lot of information out there, so I've decided to share what I've learned. Please use me and this site as a resource in your process of becoming a parent.
